It is difficult to imagine a modern maternity hospital, specialized clinic or department without equipment for monitoring the condition of the mother and fetus. Given the number of pathologies of pregnancy, any problems with fetal monitors can adversely affect the work of relevant departments of medical institutions.
We repair and service fetal monitors Bistos BT-300, BT-330 and BT-350 and their probes.
We also repair fetal monitors (cardiotocographs) Edan Cadence II, Cadence Basic, BioNet FC-700, FC-1400, Bistos BT-300, BT-330, BT-350, BioSYS, Bionics IFM-500, BFM-800, BFM- 900, Heako L8, G6B, Oxford Medical, Huntleigh Healthcare (SonicAid Team and BD4000xs), GE (General Electric) Corometrics 171, 172, 173, 259, HP (Hewlett Packard) M1350, A3 FM8007, Biomed BF500Е, Comen Star 5000E etc. We also repair fetus heart rate sensors and uterine contractions (tone) probes of fetal monitors.
We use original spare parts for repair, service and maintenance of mother and fetal monitors (fetal Dopplers).
One of the most common problems is sensor failure. The fetal heart rate (ultrasound) sensor usually becomes "deaf" or no longer captures the heart rhythm. The uterine contraction (TOKO) sensor does not return to the starting position when the reset button is pressed, or during the study registers sharp jumps (peaks), regardless of uterine tone.
The most common fetal Doppler malfunctions are noted: the device does not turn on, despite the normal mains voltage and good fuses, the device does not turn off, one or more control buttons or worn - out control panel (often happen in Edan Cadence II).
The Bionics BFM-800 cardiotocographs have a common power supply malfunction in which, when the power button is pressed, the power LED flashes for a moment and goes out, and so on for about 1 second. Blows can be heard in the dynamics. All this, unfortunately, can not be eliminated by the user on the spot, but requires qualified repairs of fetal monitors in the workshop.
Tips for Extending the Life of Your Fetal Monitors (fetal Doppler, cardiotocographs)
We urge you to read and strictly follow the rules described in the user manual of your fetal monitor. And if the user manual is lost, you could search it in our electronic library.
According to statistics, more than half of the faults are sensors of fetal monitors, Doppler and uterine tone. Therefore, in order to prolong the service life of the fetal Doppler, it is necessary to carefully treat its fetal heart rate (ultrasound) and uterine tone sensors, do not leave the gel to dry on them. In case of damage of the wire insulation to prevent the electric shock, immediately stop using the damaged equipment. Given the sensitivity of the sensors to mechanical action, it is best to store the sensors in soft covers that protect them from shock.
Fetal monitors, as well as their sensors (ultrasound and uterine tone) are not desirable to be exposed to ultraviolet radiation, it can change the color of the plastic housing, "burn out" of some types of displays and make the insulation of sensor cables fragile.
Fetal monitors often have to be repaired after falling to the floor. To prevent this, attach the fetal Doppler body to a desk or wall. To do this, each stationary fetal monitor has corresponding holes on the lower or rear wall of the housing.
