One of the most common problems is sensor failure. The fetal heart rate (ultrasound) sensor usually becomes "deaf" or no longer captures the heart rhythm. The uterine contraction (TOKO) sensor does not return to the starting position when the reset button is pressed, or during the study registers sharp jumps (peaks), regardless of uterine tone.
